First and foremost you must provide a legit product that your customers will appreciate and ultimately use and enjoy. This is key for many reasons.
Tip 1: Visual Stimulations

Its not enough to have blacked out windows with LED lights around them and call it a sweepstakes. those days are long gone. people associate with what they are comfortable with, you must create a relaxing home filled environment for your customers first and foremost, or the software your running will be irrelevant. its amazing what a fresh carpet , some paint and some low playing music would do to set a mood of relaxation.
Tip 2: Accommodations
If your location doesn't have an accessible clean restroom facilities most of your customers will leave, and you never want your customer to leave, chances are they won't be back for a while. ATM, for those who like to use cash instead of card, an ATM is a helpful tool to encourage spending of customers that otherwise wouldn't buy, however make sure you have it filled around the clock, and empty ATM means customers leaving and you do not want that. snacks and drinks can go one of two ways. one, provide free snacks to paying customers, they really enjoy it however it can become extremely expensive, option 2 provide machines, the customers are not high on this idea however even at a break even margin its better than losing 50-60K a year.
Tip 3: originality
“Be original, create don't duplicate .”
its simple, the idustry has been around for a while, is stagnant, being different is key to garnering a new crowd and keeping them. The monotonous daily drawings of the past is played out. give away a trip somewhere ! that's impressive !
Tip 4: Employees
Your Location is only as good as your employees. getting a well known and respected member of the community is great it drives relations and banter, however for financial and security reasons make a third party or inner circle the location manager to over see daily and promotional give aways. the system of checks and balances ensures you as the operator doest get taken advantage of and the customer feels as if they are with people who care. win win
